Fishing Update 11th June 2019
With low water conditions for the best part of April and very low water for all of May, we saw saw no salmon or sea trout but it did open a window to some wonderful dry fly fishing for the resident brown trout with some fish over the 30cm mark.

The last few days of May brought very heavy rain and of course, the fish. The run of spring fish that could not enter the system quickly moved upriver and one hotel guest being lucky enough to land our first salmon, A cracking 9lbs fish. On the fifth of June one of our ghillies hooked into a nice 7lbs salmon. With the water still high and bright day the Kinnermoney Killer did the job with a sinking tip.

The sea trout are now coming into the system, the earlier run (which we now have) tend to be larger fish and sea trout up to 3lbs and 4lbs have been spotted around the river.

The current water level is perfect but dropping steadily. As it stands, there is rain forecasted for the weekend so water levels should remain at the desirable level.
