Kylemore Abbey

Kylemore Abbey is the oldest of the Irish Benedictine Abbeys. Originally built in 1868, it has home to The Community of Benedictine Nuns since 1920. Facilities include a visitor’s centre, restaurant, Gothic, church, Victorian gardens, lake and mountain walks, pottery, craft and souvenir shop. Ballynahinch is only a 30 minute drive from Kylemore

Inishbofin
