The Station House Museum in Clifden is located on the old Clifden Railway line. The line was in operation from 1895 to 1935 which included a stop on the Ballynahinch Castle estate. The museum itself is set in an old train house, where you can explore exhibitions based on the old Railway line and a photographic exhibition on the Marconi wireless station.

Exceptional experience!

Very romantic, attentive staff and fantastic food! Flawless execution at every turn. The prix fixe menu in the main dining room is worth every penny if you like interesting food with exceptional presentation. They have extensive hiking trails and the rooms in the main building overlooking the river are beautiful.
