At Ballynahinch Castle, we have always taken our standards of hygiene and cleanliness seriously. So when Fáilte Ireland announced it's COVID-19 Safety Charter we were delighted to participate in this programme to provide comfort and reassurance to both our guests and team members that we were ready to re-open safely.
The Safety Charter is specific guidelines by Fáilte Ireland to guide us in how best to meet the Government's public health advice. Every Ballynahinch Castle Hotel staff member has completed their COVID-19 hygiene and safety control training, as well as completed the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Fáilte Ireland Infection Prevention Control for Tourism Businesses Course.
From their Safety Charter training all our team members have a clear understanding of the COVID-19 infection, an awareness of their responsibility for helping prevent the spread of the virus, understanding of precautions surrounding infection control, correct hand-washing techniques and an understanding of how to apply this knowledge to their place of work.
