To celebrate National Heritage Week (Aug 18 - 26) we are delighted to host a guided walk of the restored walled garden, led by head gardener Cian Cuinniffe on Wednesday 22nd followed by lunch in the Fisherman's Pub.
Cian & his team have had a busy couple of months, planting the garden and we are now seeing the results of their hard work with the kitchen receiving daily fruits, vegetables and salads from the garden.
The walk will include the history of the garden, details of the works undertaken over the past 18 months and a walk through of each section, including the Victorian Glasshouse.
Following the walk, participants will enjoy lunch in the Fisherman's Pub which will include ingredients from the garden. Places are limited and costs €25 per person including lunch.
