Connemara Greenway at Ballynahinch Officially Opened

A 6km stretch of the Connemara Greenway was officially launched on Monday 28th May. The completed section from Athry to Cloonbeg, which runs through the Ballynahinch estate, encompasses some wonderful views and sheltered wooded areas and is suitable for walkers and cyclists alike. It is the perfect way to spend some time with family or just get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The plan for the Connemara Greenway is to follow the old Clifden Railway line and connect local villages from Clifden and Galway City.
