Fishing Update July 2016

June started well with a number of fish caught. The highlight of these early fish a stunning 13lb salmon caught on the 24th by fishing club member Ulrich Treusch. The river produced fish almost daily and a total of 20 fish were caught throughout the month.
July has started promisingly, with fish being taken regularly. A 20lbs fish was taking on the 2nd of the month by Phillip Elliot on Beat 1 using the Willie Gunn. Both Mrs. Corcoran and Nikki Strauss landed 5 and a half lbs fish, both on Beat 1 using the Collie Dog. Simon has caught two fish so far in July using the Cascade Shrimp on Beat 2.
