Fishing Tariffs 2008.

Method:      The Ballynahinch Fishery Catchment is Fly water only

Age:             No Children under the age of 12 are permitted on the fishery

Bag Limits:

Salmon:                1 fish per day, catch and release encouraged

Sea Trout:            Catch and Release

Brown Trout:       Catch and Release

Rainbow Trout:   Catch and Release

Atlantic Salmon

Season:

Spring Salmon:        February 1st - mid June

                                     Few spring salmon and rarely caught

Grilse:                        Mid June - September 30th

Cost:

1st February - 30th June    €60 per beat per day      (Max 2 rods per beat)

1st July - 30th September  €100 per beat per day    (Max 2 rods per beat)

Beats:

Beats are allocated by the Fishery Manager in strict rotation.

Each angler changes beat at 2pm and moves down one beat.

Sea Trout & Wild Brown Trout Fishing

Season:

Sea Trout:                Early June - Mid August

Brown Trout:           Mid April - September 30th

Rules:   Strict Catch and Release for all Sea and Brown Trout

Peter O'Reilly Fly Fishing Tutorial

Learn the graceful art of Fly Fishing with the world renowned Peter O'Reilly, this three night

three day package is ideal for the complete novice or for those looking to improve their technique.

The course runs from Thursday evening with dinner on arrival until lunchtime on Sunday.
