Clifden is the largest town in Connemara and is set on the Atlantic Ocean coastline on the West coast of Ireland. The Owenglen River flows through Clifden town and into the Clifden Bay.
This bustling town at the edge of Europe, is the epitome of Irish life, with great pubs, restaurants and shopping. It is a must visit town when touring Connemara.
