Kyllary Harbour from Derrynacleigh
One of Ireland’s three glacial fjords, Killary Harbour is a must see when visiting Connemara. It extends 16km to just below Aasleagh Falls and reaches depths of over 45 metres in the centre. 

The fjord offers spectacular view and is surrounded by the Maumturk Mountains and The Twelve Bens Mountain Range. Located on the coastline of northwest Connemara, the fjord forms a natural border between Galway and Mayo. Mweelrea Mountain is on the northwest Mayo shoreline, which the highest mountain in Connacht.
