Dating back to the 16th century, the estate was originally home to Grace O'Malley the Pirate Queen. The current house is over 300 years old and built by Grace's descendants, The Browne Family. Living history is displayed throughout 30 rooms with six exhibitions currently on display as well as the walled gardens and outdoor activities for all the family.
