Clifden Railway Line

Starting from Ballynahinch Castle Hotel this walk follows the route of the old Midland-Great Western Railway. The walk will initially follow some of the hotel’s idyllic riverside walks before passing near the now disused Ballynahinch Train Station.

Diamond Hill & Connemara National Park

Diamond Hill gives the perfect viewpoint to see the wonderful Connemara National Park.

Kylemore Abbey & Kylemore abbey Neo Gothic Church

Built in the 19 century by Mitchell Henry for his wife, Kylemore House and gardens has a rich history. First build as a home for the Henry Family it is, now home to Benedictine nuns who you can see going about their everyday life. During a visit to Kylemore you can explore the living history throughout the house, the walled gardens and neo-gothic church on the grounds.
