Based in Connemara, Co. Galway, Ballynahinch Castle offers the best of hotel accommodation in Ireland. It is closely associated with the history of the area and this is reflected in each of its individually appointed bedrooms.

Soft colours through out the hotel accommodation harmonize the stately rooms, which are complimented by panoramic views of the river and the beauty of the estate, nestled in the heart of Connemara, Ireland.

Each of the forty bedrooms have private bathrooms and are decorated to the highest standards with your comfort in mind. Choose from an elegant standard, superior or luxury bedroom or a Riverside Suite.

Standard Rooms all have private bath and shower, TV, and direct dial telephone. These are comfortable rooms with varying shapes and situated in the main section of the house with views either of the mountains, river or courtyard. Views can be requested but not guaranteed.

Superior Rooms are large individually appointed rooms with either king size beds or twin beds and all have asitting area to savour the view of the river. The majority of our superior double rooms have four poster beds, which can be requested but not guaranteed.

Our Luxury Rooms and Riverside Suites are in our Riverside wing. The Luxury rooms are beautifully appointed rooms where we pamper our guests with king size beds, luxury bathrooms with separate bath and shower, walk-through dressing area, luxury bathrobes and slippers. All of these rooms enjoy stunning views over the river and woodland.

Our Riverside Suites have a bedroom with a queen bed overlooking the grounds and a separate living room overlooking the river. The Riverside Suites have ample space to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ballynahinch. They also have luxury bathrooms with separate bath and shower, walk-through dressing area, luxury bathrobes and slippers.
