The season at Ballynahinch got off the mark in late May this year. Richard Carr caught his first ever fish and the first fish of the season a 2.5kg fish. There was a further 6 fish caught within the remaining days of May.
The numbers of fish moving through the system continue to increase throughout June with fish produced daily. June has continued to be a promising month with 15 fish caught between the 1st and 19th of June.
The numbers of sea trout moving through the system also continue to grow.
